We’ve been working hard on lots of different roofing projects lately at Mr. Roofing. We had a great time working on The Sequoias of Portola Valley and we have pictures to prove it.

Before

We have just completed 22 new roofs on their 31 building campus in San Mateo County on 42 acres of rolling wooded hills. It’s beautiful out there. But, roofing is a messy business. Here’s a few before pictures:

And, so far, this is our handiwork: Mr. Roofing Sequoia Project after shot Mr-Roofing-Portola-Project-After-2

The campus is patterned after Chinese designs that came out of World War II according to resident Jack Ken.

According to him, “The repetitive Japanese style residential buildings are capped with a simple uncluttered classic “gable/hip” roof form. The roof’s five feet deep overhangs, soffits, and eaves not only create shade in the hot summer but also protection during inclement weather.”

We clean up pretty nicely, don’t you think? The staff and residents even wrote us to say thank you and that they miss seeing us around campus!
