On January 9th, 2015 I headed to the East Coast for the Certified Contractors Network’s Annual Winter Conference. I stayed at the Tampa Westin Harbor Island, which was awesome, and had the chance to network with all sorts of contracting professionals, from all over the country. I even had the opportunity to moderate the “Roofing Mastermind” session!
Over the course of three days, we participated in training sessions that covered everything from team building and productivity to HR compliance and salesmanship. It was a lot of fun and jam packed with such valuable information!
Something I was looking forward to was a keynote speaker by the name of Derrick Brooks. Maybe you’ve heard of him? He is one of five people in history to be voted to ten Pro Bowls, named defensive player of the year, and be a Super Bowl champion. It was fun to hear his perspective on team building and excellence!
